Who benefits most?
Our Pre-Apprenticeship is designed to create real opportunity for people who are ready to build a career in the skilled trades but need a pathway, support, and industry recognized credentials.
We specifically empower young adults (ages 16-24) entering the workforce, women, veterans, justice-involved individuals, and underrepresented communities. For young adults, we provide hands-on experience, essential certifications like OSHA 10 and Flagger, and connect them directly to employers, preparing them for well-paid entry-level roles with significant growth potential.
Our carpentry pre-apprenticeship
Our initial program focuses on Carpentry, offering a comprehensive foundation to launch your career. Here’s what you'll gain:
• Basic carpentry skills: Learn how to safely use tools, measure accurately, and build simple structures.
• Safety knowledge: Master essential jobsite safety practices and earn a credential that helps you get hired.
• Real-world experience: Hands-on training and exposure to real construction environments help you understand what the work actually feels like.
• Professional work habits: Practice showing up on time, communicating professionally, and working as part of a team.
• Career direction & confidence: Leave with a clearer sense of whether carpentry – and the skilled trades more broadly – is the right path for you.
• Direct job or apprenticeship pathways: Be better prepared to enter a Registered Apprenticeship or get hired directly by local contractors.
